Hi!
I am the person you will meet when you call upon Howling Designs and Computer Services. My name is Denise Jurgens.
My computer experience began in 1985. After college and technical school, I joined the corporate world. I started out in a medium sized company in an era of what was called the "mini computer". It was possible back then for 1-3 people to be the entire technical staff for rather large companies. I was programmer, operator, user trainer, and purchaser. Anything that needed to be done, it was me to do it. As the years progressed, I moved up to larger companies and rode the wave of everything getting bigger and more expensive. A few years back I left the corporate world. I was a consultant on multi-million dollar Oracle Financials and Manufacturing installations. Maybe someday I will go back to that world -- who knows!
Realizing that I still enjoy computers and people, I started Howling Designs and Computer Services. I like to work one-on-one with small businesses and help them with all of their computer needs. I like to get my hands on the system and make it work better. I like to teach people new skills. I like to use my creative talents and technical skills to design print materials and web sites. So, I took all of these things and set out upon finding small businesses who like to work with people like me.
I am very down to earth and straight forward. As you can tell from the year that I started with computers, I am not a twenty-something know it all. I have been in all aspects of the business world and have ran my own business for the last 7 years. I will do my best to find ways for you to save money on your computer systems and use them more efficiently. I don't believe in all of this "geek speak" that a lot of the technical people like to use. If you can't understand what I am saying to you, then I am just wasting my breath.
So, I hope you have looked over this site and visited some of my other sites through my links page. If you like my work and want to work with someone who is not your typical techie, then please give me a call or send me an email. I look forward to working with you.
